Emahot was created to financially help and comfort Almanot & Agunot in need in our community with their daily challenges.
Hashem commanded us in the Torah, not once, but TWICE to open our hands and take care of almanot and never let them shed a tear. Only with your support can we accomplish our mission.
Emahot is a non-profit organization with zero overhead and zero paid employees. Minor expenses, such as supplies, stamps, etc are paid by the founders personal funds (Except for credit card transaction fees, bank fees, etc).
All donations made to the Emahot Foundation are distributed to Almanot & Agunot in need in our community. We don't have rent, payroll or utilities expenses, we run the organization from our homes and private offices with wonderful part time volunteers.
Since inception (late 2019), our organization has been supervised by prominent rabbis of our community: Rabbi David Ozeri and Rabbi Eliezer Harari.
